Barker-Ewing Float Trips in Grand Teton National Park

Our 10-Mile Float Trips run from historic Dead Man's Bar, located just below the Snake River Overlook, to Moose Village. These trips, floated entirely within Grand Teton National Park, cover the most scenic stretch of the Snake River within the entire Jackson Hole Valley. With an average round trip time of 2.5 - 3 hours, these trips are an ideal length, long enough for a full river adventure yet short enough to allow consideration of other Jackson Hole activities the same day.

Gratuities: The above rates are complete, and tips are neither necessary nor encouraged.

Refunds will be given if trips are cancelled by Barker-Ewing due to inclement weather, or if we receive your notice of cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled trip.

All outdoor adventures carry some risk. Although we have provided safe, exciting river trips to well over 600,000 clients, you as a participant must acknowledge and assume inherent risk. Our insurance company requires all adult passengers and parents or guardians of minor children under the age of 18 to sign an Acknowledgment Of Risk form prior to departure.

Reservations are required. To place an online request for reservations, please fill out and submit our reservation request form, or call 800.365.1800 or 307.733.1800. We will call you for a credit card deposit and to confirm the date and time of your trip once we have processed your request. You may also visit our reservation desk inside Dornan’s Gift Shop in Moose Village (12 miles north of the town of Jackson), located across the river from the float trip meeting place near Grand Teton National Park headquarters.
